MY FAVOURITE HIGHLIGHTERS

My Favourite Highlighters chemingway.com
If there's one thing I love most when I'm doing my make up, it's completely smothering myself in highlighter. I love how it can change up your make up look and the dimension it adds to your face. If you want poppin' highlight then this post is for you..

Anastasia Beverley Hills 'That Glow' Kit

Since buying this palette, I don't think a day has gone by where I haven't used it. ABH is one of my favourite make up brands, not only are her eyebrow products incredible so are her highlighters and I highly recommend you add one to your collection as you will not be disappointed. This palette consists of 4 decent sized warm highlighters, each are wonderfully pigmented (a little goes a long way), last all day and apply like a dream! For £39.00 I know this may seem pricey to some however in my personal opinion I think it's such a good palette to have as it works out less than £10.00 each, each shade is ideal for a different occasion, suits a variety of skin tones and I got this April last year (I checked my insta) and I still haven't hit pan!

Sunburst - a bright white gold which gives you the ultimate highlight. This looks amazing on nights out and makes your cheeks and nose pop in photos.
Golden Bronze - a warm bronze which adds a lovely highlight to your collar bones, chest and shoulder. Add this to your bronzer for a little something extra.
Bubbly - The most beautiful champagne shade, this is the one I reach for most.
Dripping in Gold - Very similar to Bubbly however it lives up to its name and is slightly more golden. This looks beautiful for everyday for a more subtle highlight.

Benefit High Beam

This is a beautiful subtle pink, liquid highlight. I apply this before my foundation for a luminous glow, adding more in areas I really want to pop. This is more suited to fairer tones due to the pink undertones however if you wanted something more golden then Sun Beam would be perfect, I am yet to add that one to my collection! If you want something that will last you months, this is it.

Becca 'Champagne Pop' (top right)

This was was the first high end highlighter I ever bought and the struggle to find it was real! I was in Las Vegas when this was released so as you can imagine it was sold out everywhere, it was worth going into every single Sephora until I got my mitts on one as it is my favourite of my collection! I can't even tell you how much I love this, everything about it is just everything you want in a highlighter. This is the most beautiful champagne gold shade so it suits a lot of skin tones, the pigmentation is literally unreal all you need is one swipe and you could probably see your glow from Mars (I'm not even joking) this is definitely the most pigmented highlight I own and have ever swatched and it applies beautifully! For £32.00 I do think this is expensive; especially when you compare it to ABH where you can get an extra 3 for £7.00 which is why I don't use this every day. However as you can most probably tell I really really love this and I will definitely be restocking once I hit pan.

Benefit 'Watts Up' Highlighter

How cute is this mini product?! This was included in a gift set that I got from Benefit and I'm really glad I got to try this as it probably isn't something I would have ever picked up due to its cream 'stick' application. A gorgeous shimmery gold which in my opinion adds a very subtle glow to your skin, I apply this on top of my make up (making sure to avoid any areas I have applied powder as it can go chalky due to the texture) and underneath my powder highlight.

The Balm 'Mary Lou Manizer'

The first highlighter I ever bought! You can read my full review HERE

L'Oreal Lumi Magique

This post wouldn't have been the same if I didn't include this. A white liquid highlighter which adds beautiful luminosity when mixed in with your foundation. L'Oreal is my favourite high street make up brand and this is my third repurchase as I just love the dewy glow it gives. On the packaging it says a make up primer but I would say without a doubt this is more of a highlighter than it is a primer, even though I do tend to find that my make up doesn't budge when I mix this in with is an added bonus.

Do you own any of these highlighters? Which one is your all time favourite?
