Happy Easter my loves, I hope you've had a lovely day and ate your body weight in chocolate! If you saw my recent Lush Haul then you'd know that I was saving this cute little bunny bath bomb for today and I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed..

I'm a huge sucker for anything cute so was instantly drawn to this, it's gorgeous scent and it's fantastic £2.50 price tag. Heavily scented with Lime Oil, Violet Leaf and Lavender this smells lovely until it gets put into your bath. It's so overpowering and I'm a lover of strong smelling scents but this takes it to another level - my Mum even asked me what candle I had lit! The scent lingers in your bathroom for ages afterwards which is nice but at first it's just far too strong for me and very headachy. This contains popping candy which was a novelty, it was fun to hear them bursting whilst it was fizzing around my tub but that only lasted all of 2 minutes. I've read a fair few reviews of this and thought that it would be similar to their Christmas Butterbear bath bomb in that there wouldn't be much of a show going on (there wasn't by the way) but if it left my skin feeling as soft and silky as that did, I didn't mind. It didn't. Every bath bomb I've tried from Lush has always left my skin feeling velvety with a slight sheen to it afterwards but this didn't. If you've got sensitive skin then you'll want to stay away from this as I itched all over, I should have realised my sensitive skin couldn't take it due to the smell (I'll blame it on the blonde..) I do hate to be a negative Nancy as I love everything I've tried from Lush but I had such high hopes for this :(

As always I'd love to hear your thoughts so if you've tried this then do let me know what you thought ♥

  2. I popped into LUSH recently especially to pick this product up. As cute as it is I really didn't like the scent at all so I didn't bother, I got Fluffy Egg instead which was much more up my street :)

    1. When it goes into the bath the scent is soo different to what it was, never had it before with a Lush product but it really did smell completely different and over powering! :( ooo I love fluffy egg, smells delicious and leaves your skin feeling lovely too! Xx

  3. I always have such high expectations from Lush products, but I literally forgot I'd put anything in my bath half way through when I used this! Very cute but very disappointing xx

Aw thank you lovely, I'm not normally one for negative reviews but it seems like a lot of people are disappointed with this one. Hope you had a lovely Easter xx

  5. Oh no it's such a shame this wasn't any good, Lush bath bombs are normally never a let down! At least it wasn't too expensive so it doesn't feel like you've wasted money! I almost bought it as it looked so pretty and cute. Glad I didn't now, I have sensitive skin so wouldn't be good for me xx

    1. Theyre normally amazing aren't they?! I like ones that put on a real show haha, my thoughts exactly hun. I should have thought it wouldn't have been a good idea purely because of how strong it was but Ill blame it on the blonde haha xxx

  7. I've heard a few people say they were a little bit disappointed in this! It's such a shame. I'd have expected it to be a little like Butterbear too - I don't mind that there isn't much of a show because it leaves my skin so soft.

    1. I've seen on Twitter lots of people saying how disappointing and dull this one was, the cuteness of this was probably the only good thing! I would say it would be good for children but it's sooo strong I don't think I know many people who this would be good for! Xx

  8. Mine didn't even pop at all. It was gone in less than a minute and made no difference to my bath, was so annoyed!!

  10. It's a shame it isn't good because it looks SO cute and could've been a great & popular product! I always have high expectations for Lush products and when they're not very good it's really disappointing because it feels like you've wasted a bath! Great post xx
