100% Honest Arbonne Sea Mud Mask Review

Arbonne Sea Mud Face & Body Mask Review
Arbonne Sea Mud Face & Body Mask Review
Arbonne Sea Mud Face & Body Mask Review
Arbonne. A brand which many have heard of, yet they don't know much about it. As my one of my friends has recently become a consultant for them, I met up with her for a little chinwag and of course wanted the scoop on all their products. Basically Arbonne is very natural, great for vegans and it free from gluten, parabens and other nasties. Anyone can sell it, you don't need a beauty qualification nor is any training required, something which being in the industry for 5 years I'm not entirely sure on, but that's not what I'm here to tell you about today. Here I'm sharing with you my review of the Sea Mud Face and Body Mask which Steph very kindly lent me as we all know how much I love a face mask! This mask claims to cleanse and draw out impurities from the skin’s surface, helping prevent clogged pores and leaves your skin feeling smooth, hydrated and glowing - sounds right up my street!

The tube packaging is nice and sleek although I do think a pump style would have been better as I tend to find with tubes that you always squeeze out a lot more than what you need. The product inside lives up to it's name as it actually looks like mud and smells quite earthy which is a huge novelty for me as there's nothing better than using a coloured mask on your face is there?! I left this on for about 15 minutes and it slowly turned to a clay-like texture. (Yes it did crack when I smiled!) I was told there could be slight redness after, which there wasn't, but that's definitely something to keep in mind as you wouldn't want to use this before a big night out. Once I had washed this off my skin didn't feel much softer than what it had before but then I think that could be down to the fact that I have a pretty good skincare routine already. As for glowing skin and unclogged pores I'm afraid it didn't do much for them either, and in all honesty I'm really disappointed as it didn't live up to anything it said on the tin. This may be good if you have quite problematic, blemished skin without much of a skin care routine, but for me it just didn't do much at all. I decided to try another couple of areas and applied a smidge to my hands and elbows as I tend to find these are the driest parts of my body. I got a much better result with these areas as I don't normally use a body mask so my skin felt much more silky afterwards, especially the dryness I had on my elbows.

I had such high expectations for this mask and I so wanted to love it but it didn't do anything for me. For £32.00 this definitely isn't cheap and it isn't something I'd buy. I won't let this experience put me off Arbonne products though as I've read such amazing reviews, their Primer in particular which is next on my list to try!

Get Summer Ready With Yves Rocher

Yves Rocher Summer Collection Review
Yves Rocher Summer Collection Review
As Summer is well on its way I thought it's time I showed you some essentials which are sure to get you Summer ready! Yves Rocher is a best-selling French beauty and skincare brand with an amazing range of head to toe products for women and men. I have heard and read many rave reviews of Yves Rocher goodies, many of my friends swear by their products, so I jumped at the chance when I received an email asking if I'd like to try some myself.

Rinsing Vinegar* | £11.30 | LINK
My favourite product of the four! As soon as I read the label on this I was intrigued, have you ever heard of a rinsing vinegar before? I hadn't and I instantly thought "is this really going to smell of vinegar?!" but oh how I was SO wrong. This smells so delicious, so good that you could eat it! Yves Rocher have selected raspberry vinegar for its smoothing properties and ability to eliminate mineral build up and it does exactly that. You apply this to your locks on the last rinse and it leaves your hair feeling super smooth, shiny and it also made my high and low lights look even more visible which I'm so impressed with as I'll do anything to get a few more weeks out of having a root touch up! I love this product and it has definitely made its way into my hair care routine. For £11.30 I think this is an amazing price for such a great product as it will last you ages!

Lagoon Hair & Body Wash* | £3.20 | LINK
If summer was a fragrance then this would be it. It's heaven for your senses! You most probably know already that I'm a huge Elemis junkie, the Frangipani Monoi collection being my favourite, and this smells exactly the same for a 10th of the price which is so amazing! (My purse is beyond happy) This can be used as a hair and body wash, I've not used it on my hair as I'm quite particular when it comes to hair products, but as a body wash this is gorgeous. It lathers up beautifully and the scent lingers for ages afterwards leaving your skin feeling silky soft. If you like combined hair and body wash products then this would be great to take on holiday as it would save you on luggage allowance. Another huge bonus is that it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and is also Paraben and Ethoxylate free.

Precious Dry Oil* | £14.90 | LINK
This is part of Yves Rocher's Monoi de Tahiti collection so it smells just as delicious as the Lagoon Hair & Body wash. These combined are the perfect duo for smelling and looking beautiful. I love an oil to apply in my hair after washing and on my body in place of a cream moisturiser, I much prefer how quickly it absorbs into your skin and feels afterwards. This has a non-greasy texture and a little goes such a long way leaving your skin feeling supple whilst also enhancing your tan due to its fine shimmery pigments which illuminate your skin. This would also be such a lovely product to take away with you on holiday as it's most definitely coming along with me on my travels.

Delicate Cleansing Cream* | £6.90 | LINK
I've not tried a no-foaming shampoo before, I've always been told that one that foams isn't good for your hair so I was really excited to try this but I'm a little disappointed. This has been inspired by the no shampoo method which is extremely popular for daily use in the USA. This contains no parabens, sulfate, silicones nor colouring which is a huge thumbs up from me as I try to use products that don't contain these as often as I can. If your a daily hair washer then this may be amazing for you as it is so lightweight and it does smell really nice like all Yves Rocher products, but if you're anything like me and wash your hair as little as possible then I wouldn't say this is the best shampoo for cleansing and removing grease build up. The first time I used this I swapped my normal shampoo and done my usual double cleanse which left my hair feeling limp, lifeless and still greasy looking afterwards. The second time I tried this, I used this as the second shampoo and my hair felt slightly silkier but in all honestly I don't think I'll be adding this into my hair care regime. For £6.90 this is a lot cheaper than my current shampoo but as I've mentioned previously I'm quite fussy when it comes to shampoo.

I'm so impressed with this brand and their fabulous range of products which suit everyone as well as being so affordable. I've got my eye on a few goodies so I'm sure they'll be featuring here on my blog very soon! Yves Rocher currently have some amazing discounts so make sure you check out their website and get into the Summer mode by having a little treat!

My Top Healthy Breakfast Ideas

Healthy Breakfast Ideas | Vanity Fairest
If any of you follow me on Instagram then you'll know that I love a good breakfast/brunch snap. If you're trying to eat healthily sometimes it can be a bit of a struggle to think of ideas for breakfast so I thought I'd share with you my favourites that are SO delicious!
Healthy Breakfast Ideas | Vanity Fairest
So quick, simple and scrummy! This is perfect if you're in a rush as it only takes 2 minutes and is so filling. Here we have a bed of spinach, cherry tomatoes, fried egg cooked in a little coconut oil with some toasted sunflower seeds and chia seeds.
Healthy Breakfast Ideas | Vanity Fairest
How much does this look like a breakfast pizza?! I love omelettes for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They're so filling and you can be creative as you like! I mostly go for peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach, rocket, avocado, feta cheese and some toasted seeds - pretty much whatever you've got in the fridge!
Healthy Breakfast Ideas | Vanity Fairest
Well this is a classic isn't it? Rye Bread, avocado, spinach and a poached egg - my favourite out of them all!
Healthy Breakfast Ideas | Vanity Fairest
Ooh these are SO good. Egg & Banana pancakes sound so rank don't they but oh my how wrong we are! Out of the 4 these probably take the longest to cook and prepare but let me tell you it's worth it. You can top this with whatever fruit you like I normally love a combination of berries and I make a huge pile of the pancakes, so much more than the above but it's never Instagram worthy ;) There's a full recipe here.

Let me know if you try any of these as I'd love to know your thoughts!

YSL No.1 Nude Beige Review and Swatches
Oh look another lipstick on my blog which is my new favourite, what a surprise! I know I say this about every new lipstick I get but seriously, how beautiful is this?! I've wanted this for this longest time so whilst I was at the duty free I made sure I hunted this down, it was the last one left and I got it for £20! I LOVE IT. Ever since buying this I don't think there's been a day thats gone by that I haven't reached for it.

YSL are known for their beautiful packaging so can we just take a moment to appreciate how gorgeous this is? Everything about it just radiates luxury. The shade I brought was No.1 Nude Beige which is a pinky nude that is slightly more on the pink side and it's the perfect colour for any occasion. This is the most buttery, creamy, silky, satiny formula of a lipstick I've ever tried (and believe me I've tried a LOT) I don't think my lips have ever felt so soft and moisturised when wearing a lipstick. The pigmentation is amazing, it's so opaque you only need a tiny bit when applying so you don't have to feel guilty about the price tag as you know it's going to last you a long time. The staying power isn't as good as the other YSL lipstick I have (review here) but then unless they're matte I don't think that many lighter shades last that long do they? Yes this is a splurge but this is one of the best splurges I've ever had and has definitely become my new staple, I'm beyond happy I now have it!

The next YSL lipsticks on my wishlist are Lingerie Pink and Peach Passion, what ones have you currently got your eye on and lusting over?

The Vampire Diaries Tag

The Vampire Diaries Tag
So I very recently saw my bestie Abby from whatabbyloves do a Pretty Little Liars Tag which I thought was such a good idea and then it made me think oo there must be a Vampire Diaries one too so I hunted it down and here it is! If you didn't know already I'm absolutely obsessed with this TV show, I've marathoned it for the past few weeks and I'm currently on series 4. I'm actually dreading when I finish it and have to wait for the new episodes, I don't know what I'll do with my time!

1) How did you discover the show?
My best friend Lydia always use to rave about this. So once I finished Gossip Girl and gave up on Pretty Little Liars as I didn't like it, I decided to watch this on Netflix and LOVED it!

2) Who is your favourite character?
Ooo this is a tricky one as I love pretty much all of them! I actually don't think I can pick just one, so my top 3 are Stefan, Caroline and Klaus.

3) If you were a vampire, would you live off of human or animal blood?
Definitely human but in the blood bags, I don't think I could hurt animals and I'd want to be a 'proper' vampire. Plus I wouldn't want to be a raving lunatic if I drank animals blood and constantly be craving humans haha!

4) Team Stefan or Damon?
Team Stefan always! I like them both but I've loved Stefan from day one. Even through his Ripper stage so that's true love right there!

5) What’s your favourite supernatural power?
I'd love to have the witches powers, how cool would it be to be able to cast spells?! I'd also love to have the eternal youth and strength that the vampires have so I'd want to combine the witches with the vampires.

 6. If you were to be a character who would you be?
I'd like to be Caroline I didn't like her at first but then she really grew on me. She's the one I relate to most out of all the characters too (once she turned) in that she always stands up for what she believes in, she's passionate, a bit of a ditz and she's blonde! She's also with Tyler and has Klaus madly in love with her, who wouldn't want to be in that love triangle?!

 7. Have you read the book series?
I didn't know there were books up until I was about half way through the series but I'd really like to read them as I'm a huge book worm, I bet they're addictive too!

8. Who’s your crush on the show?
Tyler *insert heart eyes emoji*

9. What was your first initial thought of the show and did it change after you saw it?
I didn't know much about the show before I watched it but I was hooked about 5 minutes in and I've loved it ever since!

10. Who's your favourite villain?
Klaus. I loveee him! I like that he's the bad guy that won't admit his humanity and is completely besotted with Caroline.

Do you watch The Vampire Diaries? If you do and would like to do/have done this tag then do let me know in the comments as I'd love to have a snoop!

A Disappointing Lush Product

Lush Hoppity Poppity Bath Bomb Review

Lush Hoppity Poppity Bath Bomb Review
Lush Hoppity Poppity Bath Bomb Review
Happy Easter my loves, I hope you've had a lovely day and ate your body weight in chocolate! If you saw my recent Lush Haul then you'd know that I was saving this cute little bunny bath bomb for today and I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed..

I'm a huge sucker for anything cute so was instantly drawn to this, it's gorgeous scent and it's fantastic £2.50 price tag. Heavily scented with Lime Oil, Violet Leaf and Lavender this smells lovely until it gets put into your bath. It's so overpowering and I'm a lover of strong smelling scents but this takes it to another level - my Mum even asked me what candle I had lit! The scent lingers in your bathroom for ages afterwards which is nice but at first it's just far too strong for me and very headachy. This contains popping candy which was a novelty, it was fun to hear them bursting whilst it was fizzing around my tub but that only lasted all of 2 minutes. I've read a fair few reviews of this and thought that it would be similar to their Christmas Butterbear bath bomb in that there wouldn't be much of a show going on (there wasn't by the way) but if it left my skin feeling as soft and silky as that did, I didn't mind. It didn't. Every bath bomb I've tried from Lush has always left my skin feeling velvety with a slight sheen to it afterwards but this didn't. If you've got sensitive skin then you'll want to stay away from this as I itched all over, I should have realised my sensitive skin couldn't take it due to the smell (I'll blame it on the blonde..) I do hate to be a negative Nancy as I love everything I've tried from Lush but I had such high hopes for this :(

As always I'd love to hear your thoughts so if you've tried this then do let me know what you thought ♥

Girls With Attitude False Eyelashes Heart Stopper Review
When I attended the nyLDNmeet a couple of months ago I was so lucky to receive these gorgeous Girls With Attitude false eyelashes in my goody bag. When it comes to false eyelashes I'm a bit of a novice and it's been years since I last attempted to apply them (with not much luck I may add!) but these have me completely converted. I love, love, love them! I have 'Heart Stopper' which are so beautiful, fluttery and wispy yet are still natural adding just the right amount of volume. As I naturally have long eyelashes these are a similar length but add so much fullness which really gives a wow factor to any make up look! They band of this is really soft, doesn't dig in and is so lightweight it feels like you aren't wearing them at all. They're so easy to apply as the glue adhesive which comes with this is amazing. The one thing which put me off falsies was the staying power. No matter what brand of glue you applied them with half way through the night you'd always get the inner corners lifting up which is never a good look, especially when you try reapplying them when you've had one too many! These last for hours. No lifting whatsoever and these beauties will not budge until you take them off, not that you'll ever want to as you'll love them as soon as you try them. Even Michelle Keegan loves these I'll have you know!

As you can tell I absolutely love these and I'll definitely be wearing them tomorrow when I go out for the Bank Holiday. You can pick these up here for £5.00 which is a complete bargain and I can't wait to try out the rest of GWA fabulous eyelash range as well as buying these in bulk! Go on treat yourself, you know you want to..

Have you tried any false eyelashes from GWA attitude?
What are your favourite style of falsies?
