Chanel Mystere Eyeshadow Quad Review and Swatches
Aren't Chanel eye shadow palettes just beautiful?! I'm normally a huge lover of golds and browns but after getting this for my Birthday I've been converted! The quad I have is called Mystere which consists of 4 transitional shades which are perfect for whether you're going for a day or night look. The shades you get in this quad are a blackened olive with golden shimmer, shimmery cream and then one shimmer and one matte taupe which have green undertones - girls with hazel eyes you need to get your hands on this! Like other eyeshadows I have tried from Chanel, this one did not disappoint. It's formula is so luxurious and the staying power couldn't be better. It's silky smooth when applying which makes your blending game SO much easier and is ultra-finely milled whilst being amazingly pigmented. I also love the little velvet pouch it comes in!
Having read the reviews this one seems to have been a limited edition however my friend managed to pick this up from Harrods so it may still be there! *fingers crossed*

My New HG Self Tan | MooGoo Gradual Tanning Cream

MooGoo How Now Brown Cow Gradual Tanning Full Cream Review
MooGoo How Now Brown Cow Gradual Tanning Full Cream Review
A couple of months I attended my first blogger event, the #nyLDNmeet where I had such a wonderful day (you can read my full post here) Those who attended were so spoilt and lucky to receive a full-sized product of choice from MooGoo. For those who don't already know them, meet MooGoo! An Australian skincare company with an amazing range of natural, safe and healthy products with effective ingredients that are designed for people with skin and scalp problems. Their products are cruelty, mineral oil and paraben free and are so natural they're edible! Being a huge lover of fake tan, of course I chose their How Now Brown Cow Gradual Tanning Cream (10/10 for the name choice) where they simply used their Full Cream Moisturiser formula as the base with 2 added tanning ingredients. Moisturising and tanning, what's not to love?!

If there's one thing I know a lot about then it's fake tan (you could call me a self tanner snob!) and it's not often that I rave about one here on my blog but impressed is a serious understatement! I love everything about this product from the name, packaging, performance, formula, scent and the science behind it. (You get the gist..) I normally find with gradual tanners that you have to apply at least 2/3 times before you notice even a slight hint of colour but this isn't the case with this one at all. After just one application it leaves a beautiful sun-kissed glow to your skin, two applications and you've got a gorgeous tan that still looks natural and isn't orange nor streaky. It's so long lasting too as it lasts for days afterward which is really economical, so your purse will love you for it! As it's a moisturising cream your skin feels lovely and supple afterwards and it doesn't cling to any dry patches it only improves them. Natural tanners are renowned for the horrendous chemical biscuit smell but this smells delicious - even Matt commented on how lovely it is!
As MooGoo specialises in skin conditions I was even more intrigued to see the results as I've recently become a Psoriasis sufferer so have really struggled to find a moisturising and tanning product which doesn't irritate my skin. I'm SO happy I've been introduced to this amazing product! It doesn't itch/sting when I apply and its actually helped, oh MooGoo thank you so much for creating something for us sensitive ones! (You'll want to get your mitts on the Irritable Skin Balm too as it's fantastic)
As you can tell I absolutely love this product it's easily become a holy grail item and I'd like to thank MooGoo so much for being so generous in gifting this wonderful product to me. For £15.50 this is an utter bargain and if you'd like to try the hype yourself you can buy it here :)

Have you tried anything from MooGoo before?

Spring/Summer Primark Haul

Primark Haul March 2015 | Vanity Fairest
So here is my failed Youtube video that I've decided to do in a blog post! A couple of weeks ago I headed down to the Primark at Lakeside to buy a few bits for my upcoming city break, I personally think this is the best Primark in Essex at it's huge! Enjoy :)
Primark Haul March 2015 | Vanity Fairest
I'll start with my favourite, how gorgeous is this floral maxi skirt?! I'm in love! This is such a fab transitional piece that can be dressed up or down and I can't wait to wear it in the warmer months (Literally counting down the days..) The material of this skirt is of such good quality, it's quite thick and heavy but not so much that you'll be baking hot - it's the perfect inbetween! For £12.00 this was an absolute steal.
Primark Haul March 2015 | Vanity Fairest
After seeing Kate from KatesBeautyStation show this off in her haul I had to hunt it down as it's gorgeous. As you can see it's mainly cream with pops of floral colour which is perfect for S/S. Another thing that I love about this is that it isn't see through! I love shirts as much as the next person but one thing I cannot stand is how see through some of them are, so thankfully this isn't the case with this one. If you've got your eyes on this the one thing I would say is that if you've got a big bust then you may want to get this in the next size up as it's a bit tight and gapey across my boobs!

You can never have too many black and white tops! They're such a staple item aren't they? These are a roll neck, sleeveless shirt with zip detailing at the back and they aren't see through either woohoo! Again these can be dressed up or down, I think that the black top would look really nice with the maxi skirt I brought too! For £8.00 I kinda regret not buying more as I've got a feeling that these will be well loved this year.
Primark Haul March 2015 | Vanity Fairest
Totally not my style but I really like this oversized, slight asymmetric charcoal tshirt dress. I don't know if mine is faulty but when I got home and tried this on the neck was sooo tight, like the size of an arm hole, it's not as bad now as I've stretched it but it may be something you want to check out before buying. This was £8.00, what a bargain!

Matt's sister brought me this for my Birthday so I thought I'd add it into my haul. This is so me! I love anything neutral so this oversized waistcoat/cardigan is right up my street. Like I've mentioned previously I'm literally counting down the days until it's acceptable and warm enough to start showing some skin!
Primark Haul March 2015 | Vanity Fairest
As Easter isn't too far away, of course I had to get something in the theme! The bunny shorts are as soft as a babies bum and I love the silver glittery buttons on the top. This was only £5.00.

If you read my Primark haul last year (here) you'd know that these look a little familiar as I've already got them! I re-brought the brown shoes as my Dad accidently threw away them away (don't ask..) so I was so happy that they brought these out again this year! Classic, they go with everything and a complete bargain at £8. What's not to love?
If you're a huge Primark lover like me then you'd know that these black flower, diamante sandals have been out every SS for the past 3/4 years. I brought them again as they're just so pretty, go with everything and are only £6.00. When I was there the only colours they had available was black, blush and I think aqua - I really hope they'll be releasing some white ones again!
Primark Haul March 2015 | Vanity Fairest
As I've got a few holidays planned this year I knew that one of these would come in handy. Trust me to pick the cream one! For £3.00 I was slightly weary that this wouldn't be that great but it's actually really comfy and supportive of your neck!
Primark Haul March 2015 | Vanity Fairest
These little bottles are SO handy when you're off on your travels. There's nothing worse than having your valuable suitcase allowance weighed down with shampoo and conditioner when you can easily pour them into these - more room for makeup and clothes! Here you get 4 different bottles; 1 with a pump, 2 squeezy bottles, a mini tub and a funnel to avoid any mess. You also get mini stickers just in case you forget which one contains which. All of this was only £1!

Gifts That Won't Disappoint This Mothers Day

It's that time of year where children, partners and husbands dash around the shops hunting high and low for the perfect gift for Mothers Day. I'll be honest and say that I do think this is another gimmick, like Valentines Day, as you should show your Mum how much you love and appreciate her every day not just one specific day of the year. Anyhoo I've got you covered with lots of thoughtful gifts for all budget types that any Mum would love to have!
A dressing gown is a classic gift idea (I get my Mum a new one every Christmas) but with Spring fast approaching a lighter kimono is needed and what's better than a bit of Ted?!
Like I've mentioned previously my Lush obsession has quickly rubbed off onto my Mum so I know that she'll be happy with anything from Lush. Their Mothers Day gift sets are so lovely this year with a huge range of budget types! Soap and Glory, Elemis and Ted Baker do nice smellies as well.
I don't think there's a more *Mum* scent than roses do you? That and a Yankee Candle combined is sheer bliss for her senses!
This is heaven in a bottle! As soon as you see a Jo Malone package you know you're in for a treat, from the amazing product right down to the packaging, everything is just on point and is such a luxury item. I don't know anyone who wouldn't be happy with one of these little beauties!
There are lots of Mum themed wine glasses out this time of year but I thought I'd go for something a little different and came across this gorgeous blingy heart wine glass, I've seen this style of glass around before and have always loved their quirky designs! If your Mum isn't a wine drinker a tea cup is a great idea too!
'Paris is always a good idea' And if you can't afford Paris this is the next best thing! If your Mum likes dainty jewellery and Paris then she'll love this cute little jewellery dish. It's from Gifts & Pieces and I've shown this here on my blog before as I absolutely love it!

Thorntons Marc De Champagne Chocolate Truffles | £10.00
Probably the nicest chocolates ever!

Downton Abbey Series 1-5 | £30.00
I don't think I know a Mum who doesn't like Downton!

 Pandora Charm | £25.00
The thing I love most about someone owning a Pandora bracelet is that you're never stuck for gift ideas as you can just buy a charm! I know my bestie Lydia buys her Mum a new one on every special occasion - such a sentimental, thoughtful gift!
Or a subtle hint that your Mum needs to start baking you some cakes ;)
Breakfast In Bed - Priceless ;)
Haha it had to be done! I don't think you can beat a thoughtful breakfast in bed or a home cooked meal with a bunch of flowers. I think my Mum would actually prefer this over any extravagant gift!

Thinking of all the Mums who can't be here <3

I hope my gift guide has helped you! Have you got anything special planned for Mothers Day?

Lush Haulin'

Lush Easter and Mother's Day Haul 2015
My Lush bath bomb obsession is real. If you read my Art Of Traveling gift set post here then you'll already know that I'm stocked up for the rest of the year but as their Easter and Mother's Day collections are out, of course I had to buy a few... (Four's good though right?!)
Lush Easter and Mother's Day Haul 2015
Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb | £2.95 | LINK
I brought this last year and it's easily up there with one of my limited edition faves. If you're a lover of Snow Fairy then this is one you'll definitely want to pick up, it's gorgeous. If you've not smelt the amazing Snow Fairy before this has a really bubblegum/candy scent to it and leaves your bath bright pink. Just get it. You'll lurrrve it (and make sure you pick Snow Fairy up at Christmas too!) This would make the perfect gift for someone this Easter who doesn't want a chocolate egg, I love this pink mini egg with the embedded floral decoration!
Lush Easter and Mother's Day Haul 2015
Honey Bee Bath Bomb | £3.35 | LINK
This isn't one I was initially drawn to but Matt liked it so I put it in my bag. I'm whipped  It's so scrummy and it's not too overpowering so the boy chose well! Packed full of Honey, Rhassoul Mud, Sweet Wild Orange Oil and Organic Aloe Vera Gel it's not a bath bomb I've come across before and I'm so excited to use it!
Lush Easter and Mother's Day Haul 2015
Hoppity Poppity Bath Bomb | £2.50 | LINK
If you've read my previous Lush hauls then you'll know that I'm a huge sucker for anything cute. But seriously, how adorable is this though?! This leaves you feeling bright eyed and bushy tailed as it's bursting with Lime Oil, Violet Leaf Absolute and Lavender Absolute - it really is a treat for your senses. I'm yet to try this but after reading the reviews I think this one is pretty similar to the Butterbear Bath Bomb from the Christmas Collection in terms of there not being too much going on in your tub, but if it makes your skin feel just as soft then I'm not complaining! As always I'm going to put off using this for as long as I can so I think I'm going to save this for Easter weekend :)
Lush Easter and Mother's Day Haul 2015
Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb | £3.50 | LINK
This is from the Mothers Day Collection so of course this was brought for my Mumma (really hope she isn't reading this!) as my Lush obsession is quickly rubbing off onto her! This has such a gorgeous floral, femine scent to it due to the Rose Oil, Rosewood Oil and Orange Flower Absolute - this is going to be a bath that even Cleopatra would be proud of! This looks very similar to Tisty Tosty which is what initially drew me to this bath bomb so when the shop assistant told me about the bursting rose petals I was sold. This leaves your bath a reddy/orange colour so I seriously cannot wait to watch this one put on a show!
Have you brought anything from the Easter/Mother's Day collection?
