I Failed My Spending Ban!

January Haul 2015 | New Look River Island Nike Mac
So I attempted a spending ban throughout January but as you've probably gathered by this post and my previous post I failed.. 20 odd days in is good though right?! Here are the items that made me cave!
River Island Beige Floppy Fedora Hat
River Island Beige Floppy Oversized Fedora Hat | £25.00 | LINK
My favourite buy of January! I've been lusting over these floppy hats for the longest time but never thought I'd be able to pull one off, that was until I saw this gorgeous beige one in RI and just had to buy it. (We all know how much I love my neutrals!) I think these add so much sophistication to any outfit, I especially love the ribbon trim, and as it's beige I know I'll be getting lots of use out of it in the warmer months too! Be prepared to see a lot of this on my Instagram..
New Look Reversable Scarf
New Look Reversible Scarf | £15.00
I'm never really one for scarfs but as it's been so cold lately, a thick chunky scarf was on my list. I couldn't decide if I wanted tartan or a more beige 'Burberry like' style so when I saw this it was the perfect combination! Do you ever get those really good shopping days where you manage to get everything you want? This was definitely that day! Even though the designs aren't something you'd put together, I think they really compliment each other and it looks really nice on too. (If I do say so myself!) I don't often go into New Look but I'm so glad I did as I love this!
Nike Leggings
Nike Pro Tights | £22.99 | LINK
If any of you follow me on Twitter then you may have seen that I've really been getting into fitness lately and to make sure that it wouldn't be a 5 minute wonder I had a little splurge on some gym wear. So this wouldn't be a fitness haul I've picked my favourite of everything I brought which are these leggings. They're great quality, fit perfectly and are an absolute bargain for Nike too!
Mac Pro Longwear Concealer
Mac Pro Longwear Concealer | £17.00 | LINK
My holy grail concealer, this really is the best there is! You can see my rave review here :)

Have you brought anything recently?
Have you ever attempted a spending ban before? If you have please leave me any tips you have that helped you to get through it!

Holiday Haulin' | Elemis Travel Sets

Elemis Skincare Essentials and Beautiful Skin Collection review
You read it right - I'm holiday shopping already! As some of you may, or may not, know I'm going to Las Vegas in September which I'm SO excited for, I can barely contain my excitement, and even though it's months away how could I resist these cute Elemis travel sets?!
Elemis Beautiful Skin Collection review
First up and my favourite out of the two, mainly because it contains 2 of my HG skin care products, is the Beautiful Skin Collection gift set and it is a complete bargain! This is such a great combination of products where you receive a full size Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm, full size Gentle Rose Exfoliator, mini Hydra-Nourish night cream and a mini Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm with an Elemis flannel. I'm sure you've seen me rave about the flash balm and cleansing balm numerous amounts of times here on my blog so these are what initially drew me to this set in the first place. (A full size flash balm is £33.00 so who wouldn't want to pay an extra £2.00 and receive all of these goodies?!) I've tried the exfoliator before, it was good but wasn't gritty enough for my liking so I'll be giving that to my Mum and I'm yet to try the night cream which I'm really looking forward to as I've heard such great things about it. If you're going away or are looking to try out new products then this set here has you covered with everything you need, once you try the cleansing balm you'll be hooked! I also love the pastel blue wash bag that comes with it too!

Elemis Skincare Essentials review
 Elemis Travel Collection | £39.90
The cutest mini set ever! There's just something about travel sized products isn't there?! This Travel Collection here consists of 4 body and 4 face products that come in a clear wash bag which is super light weight so it won't be weighing down your suitcase as we all know that it's always beauty related goodies which is the heaviest things in a girls case!
Elemis Skincare Essentials review
The 4 body products that comes with in this set are the Skin Nourishing shower cream (smells heavenly!), Skin Nourishing body scrub, Frangipani Monoi body cream (review HERE) and a Pro-Radiance hand and nail cream - all of these are the perfect combination to make you smell delish! I've heard mixed thoughts on the fact that they've put a body scrub in here but I think it's great as you want to get rid of any dead skin cells and dry skin so you can have a perfect, even tan.
Elemis Skincare Essentials review
Onto the face products... Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser (amazing at getting off mascara!), Soothing Apricot toner, Hydra-Boost day cream and Gentle Rose exfoliator. Like the set above this has you covered in 3 simple stages with an added exfoliator (yes another one!) I love that they've put a mini toner in this set as I always find that a full sized one weighs down my case the most!

Now the big question is can I really hold out until September to use all of these and what wash bag am I going to choose?!

What are your travel essentials?

Sharing The Love | My Top 3 Healthy Living Instagram Accounts

Seeing as it's FF on Twitter I thought I'd mix up a bit and share the love with my top 3 healthy living Instagram accounts that I check on a daily basis for scrummy recipes and fitness inspiration.
My favourite of the 3! This is where I get the majority of the ideas for my meals and each one I've tried has been so delicious and filling. If you're after a variety of healthy recipes I highly recommend giving Alice a follow as there is just so much to choose from. It just goes to show that eating healthy doesn't have to be boring, I mean look at how pretty everything looks!

Lots of people seem to be eating food that's mainly plant based so Lauren is the person you want to follow for some recipe inspiration. Not only are they plant based but they are also gluten and refined sugar free which is why I love scrolling through her feed for some delish ideas! I've decided to cut out all refined sugar (again!) and I honestly can't tell you how much better I feel for it, it's hard but so worth it! But I'll leave that little ramble for another time...
My friend recently introduced me to Kayla's Bikini Body Guide (BBG) and I can't believe I hadn't found it sooner - it's SO good! I have it on my iPad and there are daily workouts for you to do and it's one of the few I've tried that motivates me enough where I really push myself. I like to have a snoop on here as we all get those moments where we feel like caving so this gives me the motivation to get the abs like slabs I'm working so hard for!

So here are my 3 FF Instagram accounts! I'd love to hear your thoughts, do you follow any of these? If you have any other suggestions on who you like to follow and who I should be following do let me know in the comments. Happy Friday!

My Best Kept Secret | ESPA Optimal Body TriSerum

ESPA Optimal Body TriSerum Review
ESPA Optimal Body TriSerum Review
I've been meaning to tell you all about this little beauty for a very long time but I was being greedy and wanted to keep its amazing benefits all to myself! We all know how much of an ESPA lover I am, they really are the crème de la crème when it comes to luxurious yet affordable skin and body care so when they very kindly sent me their new TriSerum to trial I couldn’t wait to give it a go.
First things first, the packaging. You know I'm a sucker for this and like all of the other products from ESPA this one definitely did not disappoint. Oh my it's so elegant and classy isn't it?! I just love everything about the appearance of this, especially the ombre design at the bottom of the bottle. I love having this on show in my bathroom. (Even when they're empty I still leave them on display as they are just so chic!) Enriched with Omega oils (3,6,9), Turmeric Root which is the best ingredient to help even skin-tone and pigmentation, Balloon Plant which soothes and calms whilst Seaweed helps boost firming collagen and elastin this really is a heavenly treat for all skin types and are the perfect ingredients for beautifully soft skin. The smell is divine too, infused with Jasmine, Orange, Clove and Tangerine essential oils you honestly couldn't get a more spa-like experience at home! The spritzer lid is not something I've come across in a body product before and it's a fab idea. This is perfect for those of you who can sometimes neglect moisturising your body as you just spritz onto your skin, massage and you're good to go! It's also great for not using too much product as this gives you the perfect amount needed. So if you're like me and can get a bit product happy this is the one for you. It absorbs into your skin straight away without any sticky residue and it leaves your skin feeling silky soft. There's no more dry, flaky skin here! You can use this underneath your regular body moisturiser or alone, I've used this both ways and I prefer to use this on its own as it does such an amazing job.

So there we are, my best kept secret for a beautifully soft bod! I urge all of you to try this as it's such a luxury item you won't regret buying it! You can buy it HERE for £38.00 :)

Have you tried this before?
What's your favourite ESPA product? (Don't ask me, I love them all!)

I'm A Dry Shampoo Convert!

COLAB Dry Shampoo London Review
I've never really been a lover of dry shampoo, I've found they leave my hair looking slightly on the grey side, limp and still greasy. But as you've probably gathered by the title I've been converted!
I'm sure you've all heard about Ruth Crilly's (A Model Recommends) dry shampoo range, I'd read mixed reviews but I when I saw this in Superdrug's online sale just before Christmas I thought I'd give it a try myself. There are 5 fragrances to choose from all named after capital cities, I chose London as I thought I'd play it safe and buy the classic one and it smells lovely! To me most dry shampoos all have that off-putting, certain smell to them (you all know how great I am at describing smells!) so I'm so happy this smells nice and I'm really looking forward to trying out the rest of the range. As for overall performance I'm really impressed! This is the only dry shampoo I've used that gives me volume, doesn't leave any obvious white marks and makes my hair feel and look nice and refreshed, so much so that I've gone to washing my hair every other day to every 2-3 days - that's NEVER happened before! Goodbye greasy roots!
I'm not normally one for trying out YouTuber's product lines but I really like this one and I urge all of you who are lazy hair washers (like I am now!) to give it a try :)
Have you tried this before?
What's your favourite dry shampoo?

Top 5 Make Up Buys Of 2014

Top 5 Make Up Buys Of 2014
Favourite posts are one of my favourite type of posts to read as I love to know what everyone's been loving and I also discover so many new products. (Much to my bank accounts despair!) A couple of weeks ago I posted my Top 5 Fashion Buys Of 2014 which I really enjoyed doing so I thought I'd post a make up one too. Being such a huge lover all things beauty related narrowing it down to just 5 favourites was hard, as you could imagine, but here they are and most of which you would have seen me rave about here on my blog throughout last year!
Make Up Revolution Flawless palette
My UD Naked 2 hasn't had a look in since I brought this. I LOVE IT! This contains 32 beautiful shades that are a mix of matte and shimmer that are perfect for everyday or special occasions. Everything about this palette is perfection - the pigmentation, staying power, colour selection and not to mention the amazing price of £8.00! For a full review and swatches, you can read it here :)
Nars Sheer Glow Foundation
My most recent addition to my make up collection and I've no idea how I've gone this long without it! I'm sure you've read the rave reviews like myself, so this had been on my wishlist for the longest time and I can honestly tell you that this foundation exceeds expectations! This gives you such a flawless, satin finish that feels like skin, it doesn't look cakey and also since using this I've noticed my complexion looks even better than what it did when I was using a cheaper foundation. Love, love, love it!
Nars ITA Kabuki Brush
Let me start by saying whoever said you can buy a cheaper alternative to this obviously has never tried this, nothing can compare! This is a flat tapered brush which sets it worlds apart from other contour brushes making it much easier, and quicker, to sculpt out your face with perfect precision. Yes it's extremely pricey for a make up brush but it's worth every single penny. You can read my rave review here.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade
The product that changed my entire brow game! Is it incredibly vain to say that as far as make up possessions go I couldn't live without this?! This is a staple in my make up bag and I finally have the defined, sculpted eyebrows I always wanted. Admittedly this does take a little getting used to as you can go slightly overboard as a little goes a long way but it's well worth the practise as the results and everything else is just amazing! For more photos and a more in-depth review, you can read my post here.
YSL Rouge Volupté Lipstick
I've always wanted a really luxurious lipstick and this ticks all the boxes. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous and the product inside is even better. The shade I have is Opera Rose which is a beautifully classy medium pink and is my go-to special occasion lipstick which makes me feel ultra glam. I can't wait to add more of these gorgeous lipsticks to my collection! My full review is here.
