Blogmas Day 9 | The Christmas Tag 2014

The Christmas Tag 2014 | Vanity Fairest
My first ever blog post was The Christmas Tag 2013 (I tagged myself, how embarrassing) so I thought it would only be right to do this again and make it a little tradition of mine!

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
I love them all! I'm a movie junkie so I watch them all before the big day to get into the festive spirit even more. The Polar Express, It's A Wonderful Life, The Snowman, Jack Frost, A Christmas Carol, Elf - oh the list goes on and on!

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Always Christmas day! Who opens them on Christmas Eve?! Although saying that, Matt and I once opened a small present each on Christmas Eve and I wanted to open them all after so we haven't done it since haha!

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
My Nan's last Christmas is definitely my favourite memory. A handful of the family got together it was such a lovely day. All 30 of us together celebrating, I personally believe that what's Christmas is all about - family! I always look back on this around Christmas time with such fondness as it really was a wonderful last Christmas for her. Also when I was younger and still believed in Santa, I used to be so excited waking up on Christmas morning (apparently my brother and I used to wake up every hour!) and our whole lounge full of prezzies and being in awe at how spoilt I'd been!

4. Favourite festive food?
I LOVE Christmas Day dinner, piggy in blankets are just too scrummy. I'm also addicted to Cheeselets, I could easily polish off a whole tub by myself!

5. Favourite Christmas gift?
This question is a tricky one! I love every present I receive but sentimental value beats the lot of them. Last year my Nan gave me 2 collectors jewellery boxes and I always, always, always keep Christmas cards from loved ones.

6. Favourite Christmas scent?
Yankee Candle Christmas Cookie!

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
For the past couple of years now, a Christmas Eve tradition of ours has become going out for dinner with my bestie Lydia and her boyfriend. Lyds and I exchange gifts and it's such a lovely evening getting into the festive spirit with my nearest and dearest! I always spend the night at my family home though, as does Matt.

8. What tops your tree?
A pretty fairy

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I wouldn't say this is extravagant but one thing I always remember wanting was one of those little electronic cars that you could get in and drive, do you remember those?! Every time I went into Toys R Us I used to love going down this aisle. Of course it was Barbie themed and the reason for me not getting this was because it would have been a 5 minute wonder, which would have been true!

10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
Evvvverything. I love it all. I love how merry everyone is. I love buying people presents and seeing their face light up once they open them. Christmas Day is the one day where most people put their differences aside from one another and have a great day together. I love spending it with my fab family and eating until I feel like I'm going to burst!

I know many of you have already done this tag, so do comment with your links below so I can read your answers. If you're yet to do this, then I TAG YOU!
