Blogmas Day 8 | Frozen Olaf Nail Art Step By Step

Olaf Frozen Nail Art
It's never too early to get in the Christmas spirit and have some festive nail art is it?! Here I've put together a step by step guide that one of my lovely friends Teya has done of the very well loved Olaf from Frozen! Teya is the bomb.com when it comes to nail art I wish I was as creative (and patient) when it comes to things like this. I've tried convincing her to start her own blog for a very long time so hopefully after this she may just do that! All you need is 5 nails polishes, we chose blue for the background but you can have any colour of your choice, white for his face and body, black for his mouth and button, brown for his hair, brows and arms and orange for his adorable little nose!

Step 1 - Paint your nails the background colour of your choice

Step 2 - Draw a half circle for the top half of his body and colour it in. Then outline his head, apparently this is where your patience is required most as it's very tricky!

Step 3 - Once you're happy with the shape of his head, fill it in

Step 4 - With your black polish you want to draw a D but so it's on its side for the mouth. If you're using normal nail polish leave this to dry before you do the next step, if you're doing this using gels cure under the UV lamp before you do his tooth. With your white polish, draw his tooth like so

Step 5 - Add two black blobs in the centre of his head for his eyes

Step 6 - Apply two white dots over the top of the black dots you've just done. At this point it looks more like a ghost rather than Olaf, but it really starts to come together after the next 2 steps!

Step 7 - Finally two more, much smaller, black dots for his pupils. The eyes are now done!

Step 8 - Add an orange blob for his nose and it finally starts to look like Olaf!

Step 9 - You could use a black polish for this but we chose brown to draw on his brows and twiggy hair

Step 10 - Dot a black blob in his chest for his button

Step 11 - Finally draw on his twiggy arms and you're done!

How simple was that?! I honestly thought this would be much more difficult! Let me know if any of you try this out as I'd love them see them. Are there any other nail art designs you'd like to see? As when Teya starts her own blog she can show you how! :)

Are you any good at nail art?
What's your favourite design?
