Blogmas Day 3 | HOW TO: Quick & Easy Everyday Curls

HOW TO: Quick and Easy Hairstyles
I think we all know that I'm a big lover of curly hair. If my hair isn't up then it will be down and curly and I'm pretty sure that every photo that's on here of me my hair is like that. I love straight hairstyles too but as I have quite fine hair I personally don't think that it suits me and it looks much more volumized and thicker if I add some curls.

I posted here on how I style my hair when I'm going out/to an event with heated rollers and I thought I'd also do a step by step guide (it's so hard to do in photos let me tell you!) on how I achieve much softer waves for a more every day look. It takes me no longer than 10 minutes to do so it's perfect if you're in a rush as it looks like it's taken much longer! The curling tong that I love is BaByliss Volume Waves (you can buy it here from feelunique for only £20.00) as it gives you the perfect loose curls.

Firstly I separate my hair into two sections. If you have thicker hair or want a curlier final result then you may want to halve this again, so separate the underneath from the top layers (I hope that makes sense?!) I then grab a fairly medium sized piece of hair and curl. I always curl away from my face as I personally think that the curls look, sit and style much better.

Once you've done all of your hair it should look something like the first two photos above, very crisp and separated curls which do not look hot. I let my hair cool and then run my fingers through it so it blends together nicely. You could leave it like this if you wanted but I love big hair (if you hadn't already guessed) so I back comb gently with my Head Jog 15 brush, which is actually supposed to be for blow drying your barnet but it's the best brush I've come across to back comb with. Spritz with some hair spray so those bad boys don't drop and voila!

*Please excuse the static look in the finished photos, it didn't look like that until I put them on the laptop a day or two after I took them* :(

There's my quick and easy everyday curls for you my lovelies! I hope I explained it well enough and if you have any questions do leave them below :)

What's your quick and easy go to style?
