YSL Rouge Volupté Opera Rose #29
When I think of YSL lipsticks class and elegance are the words that spring to mind. A couple of weeks ago I treated myself to a beautiful YSL Rouge Volupté lipstick. The nearest store to me that stocks any high end make up is around 40 minutes away *feel for me girls* so me being the eager beaver that I am wanted it there and then, so after a good couple of hours spent reading reviews and googling swatches I finally decided on the shade Opera Rose 29 and it has already left me wanting more...

Now I try not to judge a book by it's cover but when it comes to these lipsticks it's pretty hard not to do so isn't it?! I am totally besotted with the packaging, boy oh boy is it beaut! It's a gorgeous golden tube with a colour band around the middle letting you see the shade with an encased YSL logo. It's slightly heavier than any of the other lipsticks I own which I personally feel makes it even more of a luxurious product. Do any of you love that sound when you put a lid back on a lipstick and it does that satisfying 'click'? Yep, this does that too letting you know that it's in place and secure. The colour is a beautiful medium pink that's not too bright. For me this is more of a sophisticated colour as it doesn't scream Barbie which is a vast difference to the colour I am normally drawn to, I'm normally a massive lover of baby pinks and nudes. I have to say that this looked totally different in the flesh in comparison to some of the online swatches I had come across. It's actually a lot darker, if I'm being totally honest I probably wouldn't have picked this up out of the selection had I gone to the YSL counter, however I'm actually really pleased I got this as I don't own any shades similar and it's nice to have a new colour added to my collection instead of another one which looks exactly the same as the rest which is something I'm normally prone to doing. I really do love this colour on my lips it's pretty and flattering especially when I have a tan as it looks a lot more pink and summery. The texture and finish of the lipstick is soooo creamy and buttery, I don't think my lips have ever felt so soft and moisturised wearing a lipstick. The pigmentation is incredible it is extremely opaque, 1 swipe and you're ready to go! I know this tube will last me such a long time as there is a lot of product in there and all you need is a smidge. It smells like mangos too, subtle enough not to overwhelm you but still a beautiful scent. I'm also loving that this also contains an SPF 15 for your smackers.

If you fancy treating yourself to the Queen of all the lipsticks click here :)
What's your fave YSL lippy that I can purchase next?

Sheinside - What's the catch?

Have any of you lovelies ever heard of Sheinside?
This morning I totally stumbled across their website and fell in love with their dresses and their ridiculously cheap price tags - like seriously we are talking on average £13.00 a dress! The variety of dresses are so beautiful and for a girl like myself who is white obsessed I'm in dress heaven. The feedback is totally mixed and I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for so is this almost too good to be true?
So, my question is have any of you brought anything from here or know of anyone who has?

How To Remove Gel Nail Polish At Home

Gel nails - they look ultra glossy, dry instantly and last weeks what's there not to love? I love the ever so popular Gel Manicures and Pedicures and they have taken off by storm in the beauty industry in the past few years. It's very rare that I have anyone come into the salon and ask for your basic polish nowadays unless you're either a nurse or an older client whom is stuck in their ways. The only negative thing I have to say about the gel polish is that it can be a total bugger to remove! Who has sat there with normal nail polish remover trying to rub off the gel polish all to no avail?! *Raises hand* Thankfully being in the beauty industry I know how to remove them professionally, quickly and properly without causing any damage to your own natural nail. I cannot stress to you enough that you should never pick them off as this will totally ruin your nails, especially your toes don't ask me why they're more prone to damage but it's like peeling off your whole toenail yummy. Below is everything you need to remove the gels and a 'How To' step by step guide.

How to remove Gel Polish | Quick & Easy

You will need:
♥ Acetone
♥ Cotton Wool Discs
♥ Cut up Tin Foil
♥ Orange Wood Stick/Nail File

How to remove Gel Polish | Quick & Easy
Firstly you want to soak the cotton wool discs in the acetone and then wrap each disc around your nail like the photo above on the left, where you can see this on my little toe. You then want to wrap the tin foil around the cotton wool, make sure it's secure and leave for roughly 8-10 minutes. You can leave them on longer if you wish just make sure you don't leave them on too long as there is the possibility that they can dry out which can make the removal harder still.
How to remove Gel Polish | Quick & Easy
Do excuse my critters *hides face in hands*
Once you have left them for the designated amount of time when you remove the foil it should take the majority of the polish off with it, if not you will be able to see how much the polish has lifted, like the above. All you need is an orange wood stick and ever so slightly push the remainder off, you will see how easily this just rolls off. If you don't have an orange wood stick to hand gently buff with either a nail file or a nail buffer.

How easy was that?! You'll never have to go to the salon again to have your gels removed!

Are you a fan of Gel Nail Polish?
What's your favourite colour?

The Revolutionary Tan Removal Product | TanGo Removal Cloth Review

Best Fake Tan Removal Product | TanGo Removal Cloth Review
Best Fake Tan Removal Product | TanGo Removal Cloth Review
Sitting in the hottest bath you can handle, with those exfoliating gloves you can pick up in Primark for 99p with the harshest body scrub known to mankind in a hopeful bid to remove that stubborn fake tan - sound familiar? This was a weekly routine of mine and I would always think to myself pray even, ok praying is a bit extreme but you get my drift, that there has to be a product on the market which removes your tan in one go, well I've found it...

Around 3 months ago or so my boss brought a product called TanGo The Tan Removal Cloth into our beauty salon as she had heard how amazing they are at removing any unwanted fake tan. For a fake tanning junkie like myself being told that a special cloth would remove all of your unwanted fake tan in one sitting is highly unbelievable. So there they sat on the shelves untouched, until a couple of weeks ago in a desperate attempt to remove my fake tan I resorted to this - honestly I started to resemble a snake shedding it's skin oh the aftermath of having a beautiful fake tan for a few days but it's totally worth it though isn't it?
"TanGO is a specially formulated polyamide fabric, which gently removes the tanning pigment from the surface of your skin without all the harsh scrubbing or the use of chemicals."

I really liked the packaging of this product. Once you open the box your special cloth is contained in a little silver tin with TanGo on the lid which I thought was a nice little touch! This cloth is soooo soft, almost a velvet like feel to it so I was rather sceptical as to how something so silky could actually remove my stubborn, unwanted tan. I decided that I would scrap my normal fake tan removal routine and just have a long soak in a hot bath as freshly cleansed skin and the heat would help to lift any dead skin cells thus resulting in an easier removal process and I also really wanted to put this to test! I was pleasantly surprised how this just rolled off all the tan with minimal effort - a vast difference from the hours sat scrubbing my skin red raw. I found that I needed to rub a little more firmly in areas prone to build up such as elbows but it still removed every bit of the tan so no more orange knees or elbows yay! This will be the only time you will see me write this - I was so happy to see my naturally pale, and even, skin underneath. I cannot believe how easily this removes the tan and I also cannot believe it has taken me this long to find it! The main thing to remember whilst using your TanGo cloth is that the wetter the cloth the less tan it will remove so make sure your cloth is damp but not too wet! Another bonus is that your skin is left feeling and looking beautifully soft and flawless. I've actually noticed a massive improvement within my skin since using this weekly alongside my other body products. I try to keep up on my body care routine however it can tend to get a little neglected in comparison to my facial skin care routine say if I'm really sleepy my make up will be removed no matter what however it's ok to leave my body brushing until the morning that kind of thing, are any of you the same?

I'm so happy I decided to give this a go, gone are the days of hours of scrubbing! If any of you lovelies fancy purchasing this amazing product you can get it from Amazon here for the bargainous price of just £12.50
Have any of you tried this product before?
If you have any other ways of removing fake tan please let me know! :)

2 Staple Shoes Every Girl Needs

Barely There Sandal Heels
Barely There Sandal Heels
From celebrities to people in the street, everywhere I seem to look lately someone is wearing the ever so popular barely there sandals. I was extremely late to jump onto the band wagon and when I thought to myself 'Oohh I like them, I'll get a pair' alas, they were no where to be found (in stock in a size 4 that is) Until last week on my lunch break I was browsing on Missguided not looking for anything in particular when I finally managed to purchase these beauties. YAY! I originally only wanted the white pair but as I needed a new pair of black heels I thought why the hell not?! The colour range of these shoes are beautiful ranging from baby blue to yellow. They were the lovely price of £24.99 each and I LOVE them. I'll be dressing these up with a pretty, little dress or down with some trousers/jeans. I also really like that the heel size is 4.5inches as the days of wearing 6 inch heels are out the window - I know I'm only 21 but my body, and feet, tell me different!

I thought I would share these with you all in case any of you were like myself and were desperate to get your hands on them. They are without a doubt a staple item for everyone's wardrobe!

White: here
Black (very similar) : here and here

Do you like these shoes?
What colour would you choose?

New Look Haul

Hey beauties, I hope you've all had a good day one day closer to the weekend woohoo! I'm really excited about the upcoming weekend as I'm going to be staying in London with my one of my besties, we're most likely going to go for drinks so of course I went into panic mode and needed a new outfit asap. When I'm online shopping New Look is always the last place I ever think to look so after ages of trawling through every website possible I headed over to New Look and boy oh boy am I happy I did!
New Look Haul JULY 2014
Everything about this dress is totally out of my comfort zone and it is by far my favourite purchase.. Do you remember the Victoria Beckham dress that Amanda Holden wowed at the BGT auditions, she looked utterly amazing and of course I hunted down the dress straight away only to be disheartened - for such beautiful attire came a hefty £1450.00 price tag. As soon as I saw this on New Look's website at the much cheaper price of £22.99 it was added to my basket without any hesitation (it's actually even cheaper in the sale now too) The only difference this has from the Victoria Beckham design is the zip at the back and obviously the quality of the material although I could be wrong as I have previously found you may pay an arm and a leg for something and the quality is shocking so who knows? (Definitely not me as I will never get my hands on such an expensive dress haha) I'm so happy I brought this and I plan to wear it at the weekend, that's if something else doesn't catch my eye at Westfields on Saturday...
New Look Haul JULY 2014
New Look Haul JULY 2014
I'm ashamed to admit that I don't own a Kimono *please don't judge me* so I thought it was about time I started buying. The design and colour scheme of this is right up my street! I love anything cream, pastelly and floral so a combination of the 3 is just perf. New Look currently have so many other beautiful kimonos available so if you're looking for one I would highly recommend that you check them out. This cost £19.99 I know right?
New Look Haul JULY 2014
Who would have thought that adding some lace detail to your basic cami would totally transform it?! I love the mint green colour and anything lace has me sold! I would say that this is slightly longer than a crop but not as long as your regular top and I love that it's versatile as it can be dressed up or down.
New Look Haul JULY 2014
I brought this pastel blue cami mainly because I had hoped that this would combine well with my kimono, as you all know it's difficult to tell what things actually look like online the kimono above was one of those moments, however I can safely say I'm pretty happy with the final result! Although I do have a million and one tops that would look fine it's just nice to buy a whole, half in my case, new outfit isn't it?

Have you shopped in New Look recently?
What are your plans for the weekend?

Monthly Loves June

Monthly Favourites June - Naked 2, Sigma, Nars, ESPA, River Island
Hey beauties I've not blogged about a monthly favourites before, I'm not entirely sure as to why as I really enjoy reading and watching what others are currently loving. Here a few items that I have been slightly obsessed with!
Monthly Favourites June - Naked 2, Sigma, Nars, ESPA, River Island
Sigma Tapered Highlighter F35
A couple of months ago I brought this along with a few other make up brushes from the Jaclyn Hill Beauty Expert Box (click here to see what other amazing brushes I brought) I must admit that this was one of the brushes of the collection that I was a bit 'mehhh' about, well how wrong was I?! I LOVE this brush! It's perfect for multiply uses: I use this to set my under eye concealer, to highlight my cheekbones with my Mary Lou Manizer (review here) AND to blush for a very natural, subtle glow.
Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette
I'm pretty sure that everyone has come across this beautiful eyeshadow palette at some point so I shan't ramble too much. However this contains the perfect eyeshadow look for Summer whether you fancy a natural everyday or a more smoked out look. My favourites are Half Baked, Chopper, Snakebite, YDK, Busted and Blackout - so pretty much every single one haha!
 L'Oreal Lumi Magic Primer
This really does give you beautiful results, I mix this in with my foundation and I am loving the dewy finish this leaves on my skin! The colour of this product is a gorgeous white/silvery glowy sheen and isn't sparkly like most, it's so glowy but natural if that makes sense?! All of the above I feel gives a beautiful glow from within which is perfect for the Summer.
 Nars Blush Orgasm
An oldie but a goldie and a must have for anyone and everyone's make up bag. This is a beautiful peachy coral, perfect for Summer, which is so flattering and suits every skintone. It is finely milled, silky and pigmented and is easily hands down the best blush I have ever used.
ESPA 24-Hour Balancing Moisturiser
Of course an ESPA product would make an appearance throughout my first favourites post. Such an essential for me throughout S/S! I honestly believe that without this product my make up would be sliding down my face during the scorcher days we've been having lately *how attractive* A little of this goes a very long way, it has a light texture, feels beaut on your skin and it is also scientifically proven to work for 24 hours too!
Aveeno Moisturising Cream
Ok, I know I say this more than the average person but in all honestly this cream is a life saviour for me. I've not been very well at all lately, hence why I've had a slight break from my blog, due to this my skin has broken in silly amounts of really dry, painful skin rashes alongside many other things, I used every product under the sun to try and keep these at bay until this wonderful cream fell into my hands! It cleared the majority of them up within 2 days (depending on the size) the tightness and pain completely gone woohoo! I try not to use this too often as I don't want to be entirely dependant on one cream but I would highly recommend this to anyone who suffers with Eczema, Dermatitis, Psoriasis etc and if you do decide to give this a try I do hope your results are as good as mine :)
River Island White Vest Top
In my Spring/Summer clothing haul (here) I picked this up as it was the perfect combo with a skirt that I also picked up from RI. This is a staple item as it goes with absolutely everything and it can be either dressed up or down. I've mainly been wearing this with a midi/maxi skirt seeing as the weather has been pretty beaut of late!
Something Blue by Emily Giffin
If any of you have seen the film or read the book Something Borrowed then you'll love this as it's a carry on from there however it's told from Darcy's point of view instead of Rachel's. Ever since I've brought this I cannot put it down as I'm really engrossed in it, I also got this for 1p on Amazon - bargain!
