Spring Tag

The Spring Tag | VanityFairest-x
Hey beauties I was recently tagged by my lovely bestie Abby from All Things Abby to do this post which is perfect for the time of year and also the questions looked really fun to answer too!

1.  What's your favourite nail colours for Spring?
Ooohhh it would feel weird to wear anything but bright, bold colours when the sun is out! I love all shades from luminious coral, pastel pinks and purples to blue. I currently have a gorgeous baby blue gel on my toes with some flower nail art :)

2.  Best drink for Spring?
Appletiser is my go to summer drink! I also do love a Pimm's with loads of fresh fruit and for cocktails I really like Strawberry Daiquiri.

3.  What goes on your lips in Spring?
As we are now approaching the Summery months I tend to lean toward bright pinks and coral. Although the majority of the year I will normally opt for a pink lip!
4.  What's your favourite thing about Spring?
I love everything about Spring! I love the warmth, the lighter evenings, natural tans, my summer wardrobe...EVERYTHING!

5.  Best perfume for Spring?
My all time favourite fragrance ever is Chloé EDP - this seriously is the most beautiful scent in life! It is a light floral fragrance which is pretty, feminine and confident. This is my signature scent and I'm yet to find something that I love more than this beauty!

6.  What TV series are you watching the most at the moment?
I've fairly recently just finished watching Gossip Girl which I LOVED! Why can't we all have a Chuck Bass?! Anyway I've just started to watch Revenge which is really good and as much as I hate to admit it I do like watching Made In Chelsea on Monday evenings!

7.  Do you wear a different colour eye shadow in Spring?
I personally think you can never go wrong with a gorgeous gold/bronze smokey eye, I'm currently obsessed with my Naked 2 palette as it contains the perfect shades to achieve this look.

8.  Do you change your hair for the changing season?
I've only ever been blonde, I would love to have the guts to change my hair colour although I'm pretty sure anything but blonde would look horrendous on me! I think when people dye their hair darker in the Summer it really brings out their tan and looks gorgeous - I'm breaking the rules as most people do the opposite but I think darker in the summer is a must! (Hairdressers I'm sure you'll agree with me on that one?!) In terms of style I do like to opt for beachy waves with some sea salt spray which looks effortlessly chic - we won't tell anyone how long it really took us to achieve it so effortlessly though will we?!

9.  What kind of music do you listen do in Spring?
I love all kinds of music and these don't change depending on the time of year. Although with the car roof down blaring out dance/90s song reminds me so much of Summer!

10.  What kind of fashion items/accessories do you opt for in Spring?
Dresses, skirts, sandals and Ray Bans! If the weather is beautifully sunny I'll always wear something really summery and get my legs out as lets face it, in this country it's rare to have nice weather so we need to make the most of it.
Thanks again to the gorgeous Abby for tagging to see her version of this post please click here :)

My Hair Care Routine

My Hair Care Routine | Schwarzkopf, Clynol, Bed Head, TIGI, Moroccan Oil, Argan Dew, ESPA, Tangle Teezer, Head Jog
Hello you lovely bunch of coconuts <3
I think that looking after your hair should be just as important as your skin care routine as at the end of the day it's your pride and joy isn't it?! As I've said plenty of times, which I'm sure I'm starting to sound like a broken record ha, if you buy cheap you buy twice. Since this has been my set routine for at least 6-8 months I've noticed a massive difference in the condition of my over-processed locks, my hair has grown beautifully long and my barnet feels and look glossy, shiny and silky smooth!
My Hair Care Routine | Schwarzkopf, Clynol, Bed Head, TIGI, Moroccan Oil, Argan Dew, ESPA, Tangle Teezer, Head Jog
First up and the most basic of anyone's hair routine - shampoo and conditioner. I brought the Clynol Repair Revive shampoo and Repair Recovery conditioner as it sounded just what my hair needed as anyone who bleaches/dyes their hair knows how dry and straw-like it can look and feel if you aren't using decent products along side colouring products. I brought these in a hair and beauty warehouse local to me and I picked up the shampoo for £9.00 and the conditioner for £11.00 for 1000mls how fantastic is that?! I'm not even half way through and I brought these well over 6 months ago! I definitely started to notice a difference with my hair around the 3 week mark and full credit for the condition it is now in goes to these beauties! I also use TIGI Bed Head Hi-Def Curls shampoo and conditioner, I know my hair isn't curly or permed and I bet any hair dressers who may read this will probably be cringing that I use a product which totally isn't suited for my hair but I really like the smell, texture and final result when I use these!  It's the only duo I've found of the Bed Head range where my hair hasn't felt or looked greasy after, have any of you found the same? If you have found one which doesn't please do leave me a comment saying which one it is :) I know you don't need both but I like to alternate between the two and if you are looking for a new shampoo and conditioner I would highly recommend either of these!
My Hair Care Routine | Schwarzkopf, Clynol, Bed Head, TIGI, Moroccan Oil, Argan Dew, ESPA, Tangle Teezer, Head Jog
A hair mask is so important in ones routine. Using a hair mask helps strengthen, nourish and rejuvenate your locks making them feel and look shiny and silky whilst containing ingredients which are going to benefit your hair cuticle and the overall quality of your hair. First up (and my favourite of the 3) is ESPA Pink Hair and Scalp Mud I absolutely love this hair mask! It smells and feels beautiful leaving your hair glowing after application and the packaging is so classy, everything about this is perfect. I also love how it seems to make my hair seem blonder after? I know that's a fairly bold statement to make and I'm not sure how they do it but I LOVE it. (This comes in extremely handy for when you need a touch up of the ole highlights) I apply a generous amount to my scalp and roots and it never leaves a greasy residue afterwards. I also love how you can use this on areas like Eczema and Psoriasis too - I have an in-depth review of this beauty coming very soon! Next up is the fabulous Clynol Illuminate Luminous Oil Treatment which claims to transform your tresses with instant luminosity, softness and smoothness with up to 90% split end reduction. This has a slight gold shimmer to it and is infused with Argan Oil so as you could imagine it smells heavenly. Like ESPA's product this too works within helping to restructure and strengthen your hair also leaving it feeling and looking silky and glossy. Last but by no means least is Argan Dew Replenishing Hair Mask I have already posted a full, in-depth on a couple of Argan Dew's wonderful products so click here if you fancy a read :)
My Hair Care Routine | Schwarzkopf, Clynol, Bed Head, TIGI, Moroccan Oil, Argan Dew, ESPA, Tangle Teezer, Head Jog
I can honestly put the length of my hair down to these little treasures! They are my HG and have literally changed my hairs life. Some people can be a little wary when it comes to applying oil to their hair but I do this whilst my hair is damp and it doesn't leave an oily residue whatsoever as you only need the size of a 10p coin and it leaves your hair sleek, shiny and healthy. I also found this to actually help my hair dry quicker, so I researched it and when an oil is applied to damp hair it disperses the water, little fun fact there! I couldn't go without these in my routine and I know they may seem a little on the pricer side however they contain a higher concentration of Argan Oil (which is the crème de la crème of things you could apply to your hair) compared to the cheaper products as they contain less Argan Oil which results in you using more product to have the same effect - oh hello there's that little saying again 'you buy cheap you buy twice' *broken record* you also only need the teeniest amount which lasts you absolutely ages!
My Hair Care Routine | Schwarzkopf, Clynol, Bed Head, TIGI, Moroccan Oil, Argan Dew, ESPA, Tangle Teezer, Head Jog
If you aren't using a heat protecting spray Ladies and Gents get buying! This helps to keep your hair from frying when using heated styling tools and helps protect as an defensive mask for temperatures up to 200°C. This is the key product when it comes to helping to protect your mane from damage and the spray applicator is perfect for quickness for lazy people like myself - a couple of spritz and you're done!
My Hair Care Routine | Schwarzkopf, Clynol, Bed Head, TIGI, Moroccan Oil, Argan Dew, ESPA, Tangle Teezer, Head Jog
The only hairspray I have found to hold my hair no matter how big or what style I have without looking/feeling sticky, crunchy or that horrible wet look we all try so hard to avoid. I'm sure many of you would have seen this in your hairdressers at some point and when I saw this at my local Hair and Beauty warehouse for £3.95 I added it to my shopping basket straight away! It doesn't smell horrid like most hairsprays and the holding power is perfect, it holds your curls in place all night long!
My Hair Care Routine | Schwarzkopf, Clynol, Bed Head, TIGI, Moroccan Oil, Argan Dew, ESPA, Tangle Teezer, Head Jog
Loyal readers I'm sure you would have seen these 2 appear in a couple of my previous posts - What's In My Travel Bag / Big Voluminous Locks. Since using my Tangle Teezer the dramatic difference with the improvement of split ends and knots/tangles is unreal! This helps to eliminate these with ease and it doesn't hurt one bit. This has now taken the favourite place among all of my hair brushes and my well-loved paddle brush doesn't get a look in! The Head Jog 15 brush is the best brush in life for back combing, it gives you the perfect amount of volume whether you're looking for mahoosive hair or something a little more subtle.
So there's my hair care routine, it's nothing special but it works well for me :)
I also do apologise for the repeated words for soft, shiny and silky but you're very limited haha
Do you use any of the same products in your hair care routine?

OOTN Virgos Lounge

Hey loves, I've only ever done one of these posts so I thought it's about time I done another!
On Saturday Matt and I were invited to a fabulous birthday party by a very good friend of mine who is extremely glamorous and a little over the top, to say the very least, so of course expectations for this event were likewise! The whole decoration was so beautiful with the theme being chic and sophisticated in black and white; there was a live band, a singer, a photographer, an amazing meal, fireworks, a red carpet (yes you read that right) and a free bar all evening! There were even 'posh' portaloos which came with a cleaner....yes you read that right too! I even think that this is more gorgeous than most wedding venues I've been to as bearing in mind this was held in her back garden so this could be a potential idea for a venue for when Matt eventually decides to pop the question ;)

Dress - Virgos Lounge do check out their website I now have a total of 12 dresses from their collection, the quality and designs are so beautiful and different! It's also one of those dresses where you can rely on the fact that you won't see anyone in the same dress as you!
Shoes - Lucys Boutique (not that you can see them)
Bag - Chanel
Watch - Marc Jacobs
To see how I styled my hair click here :)
What did you get up to on the weekend?

No Mascara | First Coat | Second Coat
Alreeet loves! What's that you say? What's the magic product that gets your eyelashes as long as the above? Well that would be telling...;) Ha I joke I joke, in my previous post you would have seen that I picked up L'Oreal False Lash Telescopic mascara as I had seen the gorgeous Carli Bybel use it in the majority of her make up tutorials so of course I brought it and tried it out for myself.
I LOVE this mascara, just look at the photos above need I say more? I must admit after the first couple of attempts of applying this mascara I did think twice about using it again as it was just that little bit too wet and as I've mentioned previously I wasn't sure about the brush being designed like a comb as I'm used to a huge brush full of bristles which admittedly can get a little messy when applying! Now that I'm use to this design of this brush I love it and it's made my mascara routine so much easier and quicker. To get the wonderful fullness and volume I start from the very root of my eyelash and give the wand a little shimmy, I then apply the mascara by pushing all my lashes up how you would normally and shaping them to how I want them to look, I then make sure that all my lashes are coated from top to bottom and this usually does the trick for massive lashes. I haven't curled my eyelashes in the photos above but as you could imagine if you do they look out of this world! When you use this mascara it's like your combing through your eyelashes making them beautifully long, full and fluttery. The separation of this brush is superb and helps you avoid any clumpy, spidery-like eyelashes, unless you're aiming for a more dramatic look carry on applying a couple more coats as you will eventually achieve your desired look! As you can see the design of this brush has 2 different lengths - one side has the bristles all of the same length and the other more shorter and fuller, this helps to grasp each lash and ensure a fabulous coverage from root to tip. Once I am happy with the separation and general look of my lashes I do apply a small coating of my Maybelline Volum' Express Colossal Mascara just to give it that extra bit of volume if I want more of a heavier/evening look. As if this mascara couldn't get any don't get raccoon eyes with this mascara ladies (and gents)! The staying power is on point and after a tiring, busy day at work or a drunken night on the town this mascara doesn't smudge at all. Not one bit. So ladies with shorter eyelashes and contact lense wearers do not be afraid of this amazing product as it will work wonders for you!

If I had tried this mascara without knowing the brand and price range I definitely would say it is worth a lot more than £10.99 as it really is that amazing. I purchased this mascara on Superdrugs 3for2 offer which is currently still available so if you fancy trying this out be sure to pick up a couple of other items too! :)

Have you tried this mascara before?
What's your fave mascara?

High Street Makeup Haul

High Street Makeup Haul
Hey poppets I hope you're all having a good week
I'm sure most of you are aware that Superdrug currently have a 3 for 2 mix & match offer across all cosmetics so of course I had to take advantage! If you didn't know now you do so spend spend spend :)
L'Oreal Lumi Magique Primer Pure Light
After watching my favourite beauty gurus, Jaclyn Hill and Carli Bybel, use this in recent makeup tutorials of course I had to pick this little treasure up! As we are heading into the Summery months I much prefer my make up looking a lot more dewy and luminous compared to the matte finishes I tend to lean towards in Winter so this definitely ticked all of the boxes.
L'Oreal True Match Foundation
My holy grail foundation! This is the best foundation I've come across which isn't high end and costs a bomb. This gives a flawless finish and is build able from a sheer to full coverage without making your skin look cakey. This works beautifully with my Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki review here
L'Oreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara
I'm so excited to try this! If any of you watch Carli Bybels make up tutorials then you will have seen the amazing results of this plenty of times. This has a skinny comb wand which is completely different to my huge bristle wand so I have a feeling this may take a little while getting used to but I'm sure I will love it.
Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer
Oh hello, another product which Jaclyn Hill made me buy! I have seen a fair few reviews of this flying around but as soon as I saw Jaclyn use it I was sold. It was one of those moments where you're so eager to try it all the packaging is ripped off, make up removed and this applied straight away as soon as you walk through the front door! So I do apologise for the dirty applicator. So far I am loving this concealer, I brought the shade nude as in my store there was a selection of 2 which were nude and ivory. It looked fine in the shop however when I got home I was a bit iffy as to whether this could be a little too dark for my skin however when applied this matches your skin tone perfectly and the coverage is fab.
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder
I felt like the only person in the whole world of beauty that doesn't own this product so I finally got it! Powders aren't really my thaaang (try saying that without a twang haha) and to be honest they rarely get me excited as I'm sure it's the same for the majority of you but with the warm months approaching I didn't really fancy looking like a greaseball so I knew this would be an essential item for my make up bag.
-Maybelline Volum' Express Colossal Mascara
A firm favourite of mine review here I brought this mainly as I was on the verge of running out of my previous one - you know when you have to circle the wand around the tube one too many times to get any mascara on the brush haha and also as a back-up in case I didn't like the L'Oreal mascara! (Although I'm sure I will)

Have you brought anything from the 3for2 offer?
Do you own any of these goodies?

HUGE Elemis Haul

Elemis Haul
It's no secret that I'm a complete Elemis junkie. When it comes to skincare products you get what you pay for and Elemis really is the crème de la crème of luxurious face and body products!
Elemis Skin Nourishing Secrets Collection
The first item I picked up was the Skin Nourishing Secrets Collection which was from Elemis fabulous, and bargainous, Christmas range. I brought this mainly because I LOVE the Skin Nourishing Milk Bath and the fact that the Skin Nourishing Body Scrub came with it was just a bonus! I brought the Milk Bath for my Mum last year for Mother's Day which I instantly regretted not keeping for myself as it feels and smells divine, I did sneak a bit of this at times but I got caught haha. This is a perfect treatment for dry skin, especially as I fake tan often your skin can get particularly on the parched side! I apply 1 to 2 cap fulls to my bath and then use it as a body moisturiser as well when I'm not using my Elemis Frangipani Oil (review here) You can use this as an aftersun product, on Psoriasis, Eczema and Dermatitis. You can also use this on babies as it really is that gentle! This makes my skin feel so hydrated and soft, not to mention the lovely smell which lingers on your body.

I wouldn't have picked up the Skin Nourishing Body Scrub alone as you most likely know I'm loving my Elemis Frangipani Body Scrub (review here) but this combined with the Milk Bath really works wonders! It has small natural exfoliators of rice and bamboo which gently polish away any dead skin cells whilst sweet almond, macadamia and wheat germ oils nourish, soften and condition. My skin feels as smooth as a babies bum when I use this fab product weekly!
Elemis Resurfacing Cleanse Duo
The next product which I just had to get was the Resurfacing Cleanse Duo which was one of Elemis New Year offers. I brought this purely because I hadn't seen one of my besties for a month or so and when I saw her, her skin looked FLAWLESS! She puts all the credit to such an amazing complexion down to the Tri-Enzyme facial wash so I had to try it out for myself right? Using this facial wash daily will deeply cleanse my skin to reveal a much smoother, refined and radiant complexion whilst sloughing away dead skin cells. I love the texture and smell of this product, even if I didn't like it I would still use it as I've seen how great the results are! I also love how this comes with an Apricot Toner which smells as delicious as it sounds (can you tell I like to smell my products?) and a minature Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm which is definitely in my top 3 products of life!
Elemis White Flowers Eye And Lip Make-Up Remover
Anyone who knows me or has read my blog for a little while now knows that when it comes to applying mascara I don't hold back - the more the better! (Although spidery eyelashes are not the one but you get my drift..) This removes all mascara including waterproof, we all know how much of a bugger that can be to get off, whilst conditioning and hydrating the lashes. It's also safe for contact lense wearers and sensitive eyes as it soothes the eye contour. This is also amazing at remove any stubborn lipstick!
Elemis Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser
After I used all of my beloved Cleansing Balm (review here) I decided to purchase a different cleanser which was the Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser. I will go back to the Cleansing Balm once I've finished this as I loved it soooo much but I like to change my cleanser every time I finish the pot so my skin doesn't get used to it. Anyhoo, as I've said before anything with the word Radiance on the packaging I'm a huge sucker for so as I was searching for a new cleanser of course I choose this one! This has a fairly thick consistency to it, I would say imagine the feel and thickness of Sudocrem this is fairly similar but obviously much much better. It's amazing at removing any heavy make up as well as mascara, it has deeply cleansing properties which deliver exceptionally clean and clear skin after which feels beautiful as well as reduces any high colour. You can also use this as a mask, once you've cleansed your skin and removed any make up I then reapply this and leave for around 5 minutes for a quick hydration boost.
Elemis Skin Buff
Of all the exfoliators I have tried and used this one has hands down got to be the winner! It's really quite gritty so you feel like you're giving your skin a good ole scrub but not overly so that you're damaging your skin or that your face is bright red afterwards. This smoothes away any rough and dry textured skin to help stimulate the regeneration of new cells. After using this my skin looks sooo clear and like all Elemis products feels super duper soft! It's really important that you use a facial scrub (one that's actually meant for you face and not your body) in your weekly routine. If you don't then all the decadent products you put on your skin will just get absorbed by all the dead skin cells that are not being removed which is pointless for your time and moolah!
Elemis Fruit Active Rejuvenating Mask
As I'm forever on the hunt for a glowing complexion this mask was recommend to me by an Elemis consultant, she said that this was known as a 'pre-party mask' for all the ladies like myself who want the wow factor and that it did! The first time of using this mask my skin looked uh-may-zing, all my pores were much more refined and my skin literally looked like it was glowing! It was so radiant and beautiful to touch, it looked as wonderful as it first did for days after too!
Elemis Absolute Eye Mask
I feel that most people neglect their eye area, but it's really important to use a separate mask and eye cream/serum as the skin around your eye contour is much thinner and needs different results than the rest of your face. This mask helps to brighten around the eye area and reduces dark circles and any puffiness. This helps to rehydrate and is perfect for contact lense wearers, people who stare at computers all day and tired eyes from long periods of driving - sums me up in one!
Elemis Absolute Eye Serum
For an eye moisturiser I massively prefer a serum to a cream as it gets absorbed much quicker and easier into your skin. This has similar results to the mask above and they work exceptionally well together!
Elemis Visible Brilliance
I'm sure most of you will be thinking by now strewth girl you're obsessed with skin radiance haha! I am in love with this serum as it delivers the amazing results I want for my skin. I use this under my moisturiser day and night for the best results it can give. This brightens my skin tone with instant luminosity and gives a nice healthy glow. No wonder they call this the perfect instant beauty flash booster!
Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream
If you haven't heard of the ever so famous Pro-Collagen Marine Cream you're missing out! This is one of Elemis best sellers with one being sold every minute across the world with the likes of Emma Bunton among many other celebs loving it. This has been clinically proven to reduce the depth of wrinkles and fine lines in 15 days, not that you need it at 21 but hey may as well start early! This helps hydrate and moisturises all skin types and is extremely rich in anti-oxidants. It increases cell renewal, firmness and elasticity - I brought another of these for my Mum and she can really notice a difference in the overall look and texture of her skin. For a anti-aging product most people would expect this to be a real thick, gloopy consistency when in actual fact is one of the softest, light weight moisturisers I've felt! If you're looking for the perfect gift for someone who is worried about aging this is a miracle in a tub!
Elemis Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm
This is in my top 3 products EVER! I use this as a radiance booster along with my Visible Brilliance and also as a make up primer - this keeps it on ALL day! I sometimes also use this as a light moisturiser in place of the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream. This is a hybrid moisturiser which protects against moisture loss and hydrates the skin along with other skin flattering qualities hence that beautiful word radiance ;)

Have you ever tried any Elemis products?
What's your favourite skincare brand?

The Fairy Tale Tag

The Fairy Tale Tag
Hey lovelies, a couple of months back I saw this tag floating around and of course being a massive fan of Disney and loving all things fairy tales I just had to do this!

Snow White - Do you consider yourself beautiful?
No however I'm learning to accept myself for how I am - flaws and all. I think everyone has certain things about them which make them beautiful in their own way. I seriously cannot stand narcissistic people, I don't think there is anything more unattractive!

Sleeping Beauty - How many hours do you sleep at night?

As many as possible! Normally between 7-9 hours, anything less than 7 then I'm definitely not going to be Mrs Happy first thing in the morning..

Cinderella - Do you have a curfew?
Obviously when I was a lot younger I used to which I hated. I now do what I want as and when I please - although my Mum does wait up for me sometimes bless her!

Rapunzel - Do you love being outside?
If the weather is warm and sunny absolutely! However if it's gloomy, cold and rainy I much prefer being all snug indoors watching a film or reading a good book.

Red Riding Hood - Do you trust strangers easily?
I love meeting new people and making friends. I'm not quick to judge straight away and would much rather get to know somebody to make my own opinion regardless of what others say. However there are only a handful of people whom I truly trust.

The Wolf and the Seven Young Kids - Are you easily fooled?
When it comes to silly things I can be quite gullible but soon realise when I've been fooled! More serious things like friendships and relationships I've got my head screwed on and I'm quite clued up so I certainly won't be taken for a ride. (I seriously thank my Brother for this trait)

Beauty and the Beast - What makes someone beautiful in your eyes?
Someone who's genuine, confident, kind, caring and can make me laugh! Personality always wins.

The Little Mermaid - What would you sacrifice for love?

When you're in a relationship I think it's all about compromise and being happy. I wouldn't ever ditch all of my friends, change my appearance or personality for a man - been there done that so it's not something I'd intentionally do again. I
n terms of my loved ones (family, friends, boyfriend) I would go to the end of the earth and back again!

The Frog Prince - What do you find disgusting?
Oh Jesus I have so many pet peeves! I cannot stand ignorant people who do not have any manners, people who slurp their drinks unnecessarily loud, hypocrites, bullies, children/animal abusers and people who lie so much they start to believe themselves. Another thing which really frustrates me is when you someone with blonde hair wearing black Kirby grips/Bobby pins why?!

Jack and the Beanstalk - Do you have any plants?

Nooo I am terrible when it comes to looking after house plants, I always forget to water them and if I do I over water them! At work we used to have plants which I killed off so we now have artificial flowers oops..

Puss in Boots - Do you have pets? If not, do you want them?
I have a gorgeous, fat cat called Patch who is my baby!

Bluebeard - What is your weak point?
I'm a huge worrier. I'll worry about the things that were said, the things that weren't said, being late to something important, people's feelings, things that haven't even happened - the list goes on..

Pinocchio - What is your biggest wish?
I would wish for all my loved ones to be healthy, happy and financially comfortable.

Peter Pan - What is your mental age?
This completely depends on my mood, company and situation. I love watching Disney films and laughing at silly things, however I can be quite mature for my age as most of my friends and boyfriend are a fair bit older than I am and people mistake me for being older than 21
. I think a mixture of both is the best way to be :)

The Star Money - What is your most valuable possession?
I have lots of gifts which have been brought/given to me over the years from family and friends which are all sentimental and special.

Gold Mary & Pitch Mary - Are you a hard worker or a lazy one?
I'm a hard worker, I've constantly had a job since I was 14. I am loyal, reliable and can be too much of a perfectionist at times. I take pride in my work, the final result are always rewarding and pays off for the hard word put in. Gosh this sounds like a job interview..

The Snow Queen - Who is your best friend? What would you do for them?
I have 2 best friends, Lydia and Sophie. I couldn't think of anything I wouldn't do for these beauties, I would do absolutely anything for them

The Princess and the Pea - Are you sensitive?
Nooo, it takes a lot for something to upset me.

Godfather Death - What qualities make a good parent?
I have the best parents you could ask for, I guess I'm a little too spoiled! If I turn out anything like them in the future, with or without children, I would be more than happy.

The Twelve Dancing Princesses / The Worn-Out Dancing Shoes - Do you like parties?
I love getting all glammed up with my girlies for a night out on the town! Although fancy dress parties are a big no-no for me.

The Emperor's New Clothes - Do you care a lot about your clothing?
Oh yes! I always like my outfits to look like I've taken the time and effort in putting them together and to feel pretty and confident in them. You could say I'm always overdressed for the occasion but I'm happy like that.

The Brave Little Tailor - Do you consider yourself brave?

I do - physically I don't think I'm a wimp and I'm willing to try new things. Emotionally I'm strong, I don't like to show my emotions often and people can find it hard to read me - this is not always a good thing.

Fashionista Ultra Pink MUA Shade 16 Nectar
Hey darls I hope you're all having a lovely bank holiday weekend. If you can't already tell from my previous posts, I am ridiculously excited for Summer and a bit of heat! I love being able to wear bright lipsticks when the sun is out, here are 2 of my favourites which are also are under the extremely inexpensive price of £2.00.

Fashionista Double Take Lipstick in Ultra Pink £7.00 £1.50
This is a gorgeous pinky/purple shade which is quite bold, I would mainly wear this of an evening however if I'm feeling brave and it matches my outfit I may wear this throughout the day. This is extremely pigmented one swipe of colour and you're ready to go, the texture is soooo creamy and the staying power is amazingly long lasting. When this is first applied it's has quite a velvety finish however as times goes on it becomes more matte.

MUA Make Up Academy Shade 16 Nectar £1.00
The colour orange is going to be so huge throughout Spring and Summer it's going to go through the roof! This is a beautiful bright coral shade which leans more to the orange and peach end of the colour spectrum rather than the pink side of coral. Coral is a little more wearable for the majority of skin tones than Orange. This lippy glides on smoothly and effortlessly, is quite opaque with one swipe it's not patchy at all and has an ever so slight velvet finish.

What's your favourite colour lipstick for Summer?
